  For glued laminated beams

The VacuMaster VHL from Schmalz permits handling of glued laminated beams up to 24 m long with weights of up to 1500 kg.
Since such loads may bend considerably when lifted, the unit has four suction pads mounted on two double rockers. The use of vacuum technology makes the use of ropes or mechanical grippers unnecessary, making the handling process easier and faster, prevents damage to the loads and reduces the risk of accidents.
